Claudia Henzen was born and raised in Zurich, Switzerland; she immigrated to Australia with her husband in 1995.
While living in Switzerland Claudia completed Certificates in commercial studies, fashion design and pattern-making. After making the move to Australia Claudia decided to act on her love of fashion design by enrolling in a Diploma of Clothing Industries at the South East Metropolitan College.
Since graduating in 1996 Claudia has worked in the design department of Seekers Australia as well as with Second Skin, a company which manufactures pressure garments for burns victims. In 1999 she was invited to do work experience for a number of influential Australian designers including Collette Dinnigan, Akira Isogawa and Roberto Pierucci.
Claudia’s design success culminated with the opening of her own store within The Colonnade in Subiaco in 2002.
She has recently been approached by buyers from Ireland, England, Paris and the Middle East wanting to stock her garments.
