Pussies, Kittens and Kitties... Oh My!

Imagine how happy you would be if your hobby forced you to start a full time business. That is exactly what happened to Liza Nethery-Corps, designer and owner of Pussy Galore. Liza began this jewellery and accessory label as a hobby and quickly discovered that the demand for her pieces was so great that she had to chuck in her hospitality job and give the label the time it deserved.

Pussy Galore offers a fresh range of quirky, contemporary hand made jewellery and accessories for the directional woman.

Each piece of jewellery is handcrafted using a combination of high quality products including semi precious stones, crystals, Czechoslovakian glass beads, bone, wood, shell, coral, leather and suede. Liza’s pieces are unique and often come about through dismantling treasures discovered in flea markets and using the pieces in new works.

But apart from jewellery, Liza is also keen on creating handbags, scarves, capes, cushions, napkins and table runners. All of these pieces carry the signature mark of indivualism included in the Pussy Galore jewellery. Each form has an element of embellishment whether it be using ribbons, beads, crystals, appliqué or vintage jewels.

And it doesn’t stop there. Liza has also gone on to create a range of baby accessories named, “Little Kitty.” This label includes products such as a nappy changing mat and assorted totes and bottle bags.

And of course then there is the “Smitten Kitten” range. A summer label boasting a range of beach mats, coordinating totes and headbands.

Where does this designer find the time?
